Post Re: [WTB] Lap Bar/Lap Dawg
Hi
I just got my stick and have no idea about it, I didn't want to practice standing up for long periods
So I got a 3/8" doul a piece of round rubber ( plumber use for covering pipe work, like air conditioning)
Then insulation tape, taped it on the rod.
It slips in where the belt goes.
Works great for me.

Post Re: [WTB] Lap Bar/Lap Dawg
Just thought I'd chime in here about Lap Dawg availability. I've had a delay in the manufacture of the central part of the Lap Dawg. It must be CNC machined and the machinist who up till now has been supplying that part has had a major time consuming commitment since December (he is also a well known L.A. film score composer and serious avant garde musician who invents and builds his own instruments). This in turn has temporarily delayed manufacture of the 'Dawg. I'd like to stick with Chas as he's a close friend, fellow inventor, great artisan, all around Renaissance man and everything he does is of the highest order. Lap Dawgs should be back in production soon.

I'm not a fan of the belt but a bunch of fine Stickists here in Michigan are. I think Glenn P and Steve B and others use a belt. Glenn, if I remember correctly, uses a more camping style backpack kind of belt from a sporting goods store.

For sitting down that weight belt isn't the greatest. Just looked at Greg's post - I have one of those things, a "Q1" belt from Ford Motor Company my dad gave me probably thirty years ago. I'll try that out for sitting.
