Post 5-string fretless bass for sale
Warmoth build, circa 2012. Barely played, never gigged.

Bloodwood fretboard with black lines.
Wenge neck with 5-piece bubinga laminates.
Gotoh tuners, black.
Black Korina body, finished with Danish oil.
One EMG 40DC pickup, located in Music Man "sweet spot."
Hipshot B Bridge.

An aggressive bass, very hot pickup, really pretty. Took a chance with the build, but just didn't ever find the interest in fretless. Selling this and my Carvin LB76 to finance a fretted Warmoth build. Great basses, fast necks, very comfortable. Fretless just ain't for me.

Paid roughly $1200 for the build, selling for $650. There hasn't been a deal like this since Robstafarian virtually gave away his railboard.

Lemme know.

K Rex

This bass can be fretted. You should ask to a good luthier. And you'll save money.

Looks pretty sweet, but I'm pretty limited in my budget of 1200 to 1500 clams. I am also very drawn to wenge, which has become a virtual fetish over the past year.

The build will be a korina body, with wenge top, wenge neck with a bocote fretboard. I am unswerving in my need for this. Just sayin'.

Wenge has become my new favorite musical instrument wood as well. I think maybe a Grand Stick in Wenge might be next year's thing to lust after. That CGi 6 Coca Bola is some sweet, purty stuff, though (at $3500 USD!).
