care to elaborate in any way?

I don't know... I guess something about the interface. It couldn't do anything that my other programs couldn't do (some also free) and... I don't know I just don't like how that program is set up, so I never spent a lot of time to learn it, since I had alternatives.

Its a pretty good program for a pack-in... but I've always had other options.

I'm using Ableton.Love it. It's much more intuitive than Logic and Pro Tools and has amazing drum plugins. I recorded "Leviathan" completely on Ableton...most of the drums on the album I played on a keyboard with drum plugins. I use a Motu interface with two inputs for the stick...I highly recommend it. Here are my Mac specs...

Post Re: Apple Recording Software
got my Mac yesterday and set up GarageBand. I will say this, it was super easy set up.

The Mac and GB took all of about 5 minutes to set up, install the Mac drivers for the Tascam, and then link Tascam to GB, and record some tracks.

Talk about quick! I probably spent a few hours getting Cubase to work on my PC when I first tried this a few years ago.

I'm very happy so far. Thanks to all for the suggestions!

Happy War On Christmas!

Randy
