I have seen several stick artists with a small piece of wood across their lap with the stick sitting on that while they are sitting.

Does anyone know if anyone sells something made for this; other than the obvious make-it-yourself?

I don't think anyone has mass produced them. Mine was made for me and I then copied it and made my own.

The slight dip in the middle really places the instrument at a good playing level.
