Post Guitar stand for NS/Stick
Anyone have a good solution for a guitar stand the works with the NS/Stick? Needs to have arms at the bottom no more than 6" apart, and a wide neck holder to work well.

The best is the Stickstand:

not cheap, but works really well for all Sticks including NS.

I have also modified more conventional guitar/bass stands by using a nylon strap to keep the bottom from spreading open too far. That works pretty well, but if you have the money I highly recommend the Stickstand.

I happened to have some scrap baltic birch left over from my cabinet build, so I ended up cheaping out and just building my own:

I had the finishing supplies (including felt and neoprene) on-hand, so all I had to buy was the hinge and the springs that keep it open when it doesn't have the NS in it. If folds pretty flat, is really sturdy and I was able to make it nearly a perfect fit. :D

Probably cost less than $12, all told. You could make one that cost less if you didn't want it to fold--or you could make one that came apart in pieces like an IKEA chair with no metal hardware and do it for even less. ;)

I like your design for the speaker stand / rack as well. Nicely angled.

I actually have one of the Stickstands, which works well for my 10-string and SB Bass Stick. However, it does not hold the NS Stick. I suppose I might be able to create a different support block to swap out ...

I use to place my NS Stick in an acoustic guitar stand with a wide U shape bottom. I simply bent the top holder so it was wide enough for the NS Stick's neck.
