Was wondering if anyone has played Stick through Acme Low B-1 cabs. If so, what was your impression?

Thanks

I had two low B2s- sold one and the other is being sold now. I thought the cabinets sounded great. My only reason for selling is they are bigger then what I need now. If I was in a situation where I needed more volume I wouldn't hesitate to get another set. What was nice is I could use it with Stick or my 6 string bass.

My understanding was that the B1's sound really good as well in a slightly smaller package. They won't push as much bottom end as the 2x10's will.

Thanks Dave. Appreciate the insight. I'm looking at the Low B-1's and also Accugroove Tri110L's. I don't play loud by any means so good single 10 cabs should work pretty well. Hoping to find something that has good low end and is smooth on the high end yet full range.

I think what makes the ACME cabs sound good on the high end is the use of a tweeter instead of a horn. Of course a good horn will sound good but usually you don't get that with bass cabinets..

I would love to find a 10" coaxial system though....I love the sound of my Stick thru my old Urei 809's - (12" woofers but whose countin') but would never take them out to a gig (way too heavy...)
