Guys,
If you pick up an inexpensive chinese cobbler sewing machine, you can make a custom bag of your own. I know nothing about sewing and bought one of these on Amazon. I made a few modifications to the machine to make it more functional for my use and I've been making all sorts of things on it. Don't knock this machine, it's totally portable and requires no power. It can sew some pretty heavy duty stuff and it's super easy to use.

My second project was a case for my Cell phone. I go to the Thrift stores and buy old leather jackets for $10 CAD, then I cut them up and make stuff with them. My aluminum Manfrotto monopod and tripod were cold to the touch in the winter months, so I attached leather to the outside of the tubes with 3M's 'Super 77' spray glue. They are now warm to the touch in cold weather. There's all sorts of things that you can make by re-purposing old stuff.
BTW - Don't use the cheap thread that comes with the machine.
Pick up a roll of #69 T70 bonded nylon thread with UV protection on Amazon.
