Re: The Right Amplifier....
Look for a full range amp. Keyboard amps are generally a good choice but I generally find the piezo tweeters a little bit harsh. Acoustic guitar amps can be nice too, if they can handle the low end. A couple of months ago, I bought a Phil Jones Suitcase and I'm really quite happy with it (although it's a bit pricey). I was considering at that time the Roland KC-880 but it weights a ton!
Cheers, Daniel.

I've always used the Carvin AG100D with my Stick, and see no reason to change, it sounds great, at a good price.

That's the exact model that I bought from Thomann 2-3 months ago. I really like the amp; small (though quite heavy for its size), very transparent, enough power, VERY good pre-amps (4.7Mohm), 2 channels with a very nice eq section. The only critic is that it has a single effect loop; both channels are summed before the effect out. Sounds round even at low volumes but it really shines when push a it little bit and in a big room. Where are you in Europe? Will you attend the Zaandam seminar or E-tap? If so you will be able to try it Cheers, Daniel.

Re: The Right Amplifier....
hey gato. last week i went out and bought the fishman soloamp. there were too many good reviews on this site for that amp to pass up this buy. sounds great, very light, set up in a few minutes. i like the stand feature as well, its nice to get your speakers at ear level. aux in too to play along or just listen to tunes. no headphone jack though which i find surprising....... cheers, kev

I've been gigging (sometimes) with this Fishman alongside a QVC K12 powered speaker. Both on tripod stands. Each has 2 inputs...I plug treble and bass into both. The combo is powerfully Big sounding! SA
