I concur. I picked up a Snark this weekend (have used it on all of my instruments - Sticks, guitars, basses, ukulele). It works great on my Graphite XG Grand.

I have attached it both at the headstock and down on the bridge/tailpiece section. It picks up all of the strings, loud and clear.

+ 1 for the Snark. I keep mine clipped to the edge of my Stickup next to the output jack. That way's it's pointing right at me. Works great through the whole range of the instrument.

The Snark is amazing. I checked out Paul's last night. I only wonder if it would work in a situation where there were a lot of loud amps and things happening simultaneously.

yet another happy snark-er here. i clip mine on the headstiock right
below the string #1 tuner and just above the flap. that seems to work a bit better than higher up.

the little bendy gooseneck allows you to adjust it so it's face is pointing right at you. wonderful !

Coming from a newbie whose ear is yet to be trained in pitch-- I am very pleased with my Snark!

I clip my Snark on the strap extension on my NS . The headless place where the strings wrap around is too big for the clamp. I didn't think the metal piece that sticks out would have enough vibration but the Snark nails it every time and its easy to read

I think every new Stick should be delivered with a snark. It's just as useful as the hex wrench.

I recently recorded a couple of songs with a band. First session was with drummer and bass player. The bass player tuned carefully to a clip-on piezo tuner but when mixing the finished recording I noticed that all bass tracks were a few cents off in pitch!!!

I don't know if this has to do with the tuner, the wood in the instrument used or the fact that strings plucked hard tend to resonate at a slightly higher pitch for a short while after the attack transient. Just want to share this experience in the hope that it might come out helpful to someone else. And maybe someone has an idea of what was going on?
