No problem. A pc is always available

And it’s not that there’s update available frequently

I don’t have one readily available, But yeah not an insurmountable problem , just something to note. The notch filter is a nice feature also

Post Re: A great mixer
Thanks for posting Boaz, I am looking forward to this thread. This is the whole gig in a pedal, one pedal to rule the solo Chapman Stick gig world.

After hearing about it inTap In Time 28, I went straight out and got one. It's as though it were made for the Chapman Stick - the format, the size. Wish it took 9v instead of 12v, but not a deal breaker!

The pedal is extremely versatile and there are a few tricks you can employ to emulate an FX loop. If you are only running two channels, you can send from the Aux out to pedals and then return them to channels 3&4 as an effects return. You could also duck in a tuner, that would be clever.

While I like the tap tempo, I am using the preset that allows you to mute channels 1-4 and turn off and on the effects (reverb, delay), so I can't take full advantage of the delay (which can only be assigned to a single channel in mono).

I wish there were more options to assign functionality to the buttons, but I don't make a fuss about it because the pedals solves SO many solo gig considerations in one simple package.

It would be definitely be the ONE pedal I bring to a gig and I wouldn't feel like I was sacrificing anything.

Gene

It does work on 9v-12v dc
Just keep in mind it’s center positive so if you’re splitting from other pedals you need a small polarity reverse cable. And also it takes 400mA

I split it with reverse polarity cable to my 9v power
Works like a charm.

It’s kind of small stepabout pedal with more features

I have had good luck using the 12v on my Zuma which supports 12v and 18v. I'll have to try that with a cable reversing polarity.

The Aux2 out gives it some pretty cool routing options. I love that this and a pair of powered speakers is good enough for a solo gig.

I have the Stompmix 6 with the rechargeable internal battery. Sounds so good I captured it on my Quad Cortex. Allows me to also have acoustic guitar specific patches in the QC. Paired with a couple of Bose S1’s I can play where there’s no electrical outlet.

Has anyone tried the new update with the shimmer reverb. I’d be curious how people think that sounds
