I've been playing with the Peterson iOS app now that I have a good signal path from the Stick to the app (using the Peterson dongle and a lightning-to-TRRS adapter cable). Do you think this app might be suitable for setting intonation? I have to say it's a huge improvement over anything I've used to-date, so I can't see how using it will make my setups any worse!! :lol:

I’m finding that setup is on par with the Stroboflip I have. Just today I did a setup on my fretless 6 string bass using the Peterson Clip On and I’m happy with the results. I got steady repeatable results off that bass and it sounds good to my ears as well. I would not use that clip on with a Stick though, as getting a good reading is a bit harder for it to pick up. The Stroboflip flip and the iPhone app are pretty much identical for me. I’ve always found it’s good to have more than one tuner as what works good for one instrument may not work as well as another.
