mini/micro amp recommendations?
Hi all,
Just curious if anyone here has experience with mini or "micro" type amps and the Stick. Looking to maybe find something ultra portable as a back stage accessory, not for any real practicing or gigging. Small and light as possible without any sort of hibachi/meltdown mode if a Stick goes into it.. battery operated, probably just 9V. So far I've been eyeballing things like Fender Mini Deluxe, 2 watt, 1x2". (and then some kind of adapter for the two Stick outputs). No effects or distortion needed.
Thanks for any thoughts!
Tom

although not battery operated BUT read on : i highly recommend the new POSITIVE GRID SPARK amazing and powerful small amp with built in high quality fx (works with phone app - although not necessary for basic setup) to power it up without ac outlet you just need 19 v3A powerbank like this : https://www.amazon.ca/TalentCell-NB7101 ... 66&sr=8-11more about the amp : https://www.positivegrid.com/sparkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xngane0Sh8

but if you insist on really small battery powered amp-i heard good reviews about this : https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... -combo-amp(there's guitar version and bass version of this)

What I use is a Korg Tonerorks Pandora Guitar ... it's got a belt hook and a headphone output. It's for when the wife is sleeping ... and I had someone solder a short cable stereo in to mono out jack. There are some effects on that unit that I don't use, it's just for practicing.

Re: mini/micro amp recommendations?
https://www.roland.com/us/products/mobile_cube/I owned one of these for about a year, even performed with it on guitar. Two inputs, a couple of Oz’s Stick students bought one after seeing me use it. I used it with an arch top guitar until I found an acoustic that I liked at the time. I did occasionally run my Stick through it. The two inputs are nice and all the melody strings sound great, just don’t expect good bass for obvious reasons. It’s slimmer than most of the other amps in this size, has two speakers. I have quite a few amps and PA’s, but most of my practice and performances are done through a Bose S1. A bit larger than what I think you are looking for, but if it’s small enough for what you need it handles the Stick and even bass guitars pretty well, just do not over do heavy bass sounds.

Probably would be no interest to you,( no battery). But I use the Trace Elliot Elf. Being a bass player it’s multifaceted for me. You mentioned micro. So a shout out to T.E.
