Post Plugins for your DAW
Guys, for those of you who record your Chapman Stick music.
There's currently a Holiday Plugin Bundle available on iZotope.
I bought the nine product bundle for $65 CAD, regular $1545 CAD.

If you have any interest in DAW plugins, check it out.

I saw a very similar deal of theirs a couple of months ago and jumped on it. It's an excellent deal and excellent software. And then I ended up getting their Music Production suite as an upgrade. I also treated myself (finally) to the full Melodyne (well, not the full, the medium-full but not the highest level). So I can separate out tracks on master tracks I have of myself from long ago but not the stems. Comes in handy for isolating tracks to learn them, if I did that sort of things well or regularly.

But a very good deal and a great tip! Thanks, Werkspace!

I bought Melodyne Studio second hand on Kijiji from a guy who lived 3 hours away from me in Edmonton. I contacted Celemony in Germany to handle the transaction. The previous owner gave the license back to the company and when I paid the previous owner, Celemony issued the license to me. I paid a small fraction of the retail cost by purchasing this software second hand. A year later, Celemony offered me a super discount to upgrade to the latest version. I'm very impressed with this company. They also re-issued a new license for me when a motherboard died on my computer and the license became inactive.

I bought an iLok yesterday for the iZotope Holiday bundle, so I'm going to put my Melodyne license on it as well. Apparently, the iLok can hold 1500 licenses. With the iLok, it saves me the hassle of licensing when I move from computer to computer. I don't have internet at home and I don't have internet in most places where I use the software. It's handy to have everything portable. I've done the same thing with Davinci Resolve and Reaper.

I'm really starting to like the Ozone Mastering Software.
