Just askin'. I may go down to Guitar Center and try one and a Aeon out...take 'em home and screw around. I know, I know, you can't two-hand tap. That's not the point.

I've got one, I will try it on the Railboard tomorrow and see how it goes!

Hadn't heard of Renan before...Stick Septet. Thank you guys for replying. Anyone else greatly appreciated. On the fence about this one.

I have an old one and have toyed with it on Stick. It's doable and fun although I never really spent enough time with it to get comfortable with it. The string spacing makes it tricky. On either side of the middle trough, there is a groove/channel and those are spaced so that the adjacent guitar strings to the one your are playing fit in there and automatically put the device in the "sweet spot" to get the right tone. It was my experience that the string spacing on Grand Stick made those grooves useless and you had to eyeball the sweet spot and, of course, use your ears. So definitely trickier although I would imagine that, as with anything else, a little practice would go a long way.

Oh ... one more thing. Don't use one of the real old ones where the vibrating string turns it on automatically. Make sure it's one with an on/off switch. You'd have to go back a looooooooooooong way to get one of the former but I figured I'd throw it out there.

I have one and it works. It’s super fussy but once you find the sweet spot it works. I found it worked better on my Railboard R block than my passive 4 pick up on my SG12. Cool device.
