Stand-up Stick Stand (SUSS), easy DIY project

 Re: Stand-up Stick Stand (easy DIY) Your post is very timely! As I've gotten back into tapping my body has quickly reminded me of one of the issues I had last time. I tried a sitting position and hat helped, and this is good incentive for me to keep up with the stretches and exercises I learned in physical therapy.
I'd rather stand than sit, and I've been pondering using an adjustable monitor arm as a stick stand since it should be easy to maneuver it into the ideal playing position
I need to figure out what a good base would be for it. I'm also going to try to make a mount that doesn't require direct bolting to the belt hook. This would be strictly a playing stand and wouldn't holt the Stick stable on its own. Just in the idea stage right now.

B07X48X4KMI figure it needs to be able to have an operating height of 30-40" to accommodate belt hook positions for people of various heights, so I'd need a base around 18" tall
