Post BT headphone latency
The headphones I sometimes use for practice are dying.

One possibility that occurrs to me is to get a set of wireless headphones, and plug a Bluetooth transmitter into my mixer’s headphone jack.

Anyone ever try something like this? I’m wondering whether latency would be an issue.

I have hearing aids that are blue tooth and they have noticable latency. Headphones I dont know about. They work great for listening to music with out headphones but playing with them is a problem as everything is off a bit. Id be curious how Headphones work using bluetooth as well

I have used Bluetooth headphones with Macs and iPads, and there is zero latency issue there. The key was not the iPad or Mac, but what Bluetooth standard those platforms and the headphone support. So, with your case, shoot for Bluetooth version 4.1 and up, for the adapter and headphones, and you should be fine.
