Just saw this:

Looks like is could work great for the Stick. Specially for smaller gigs.

The Roland JC-120 amp is my favorite.
It is loud and has a very clean sound.
It has two separate channels, so it's a natural for the Chapman Stick.

Got to try it. i’m currently playing the bass side through an Ampeg amp and the Treble side through a Roland Cube and even though I like the sound, I’m looking for something a little smaller.

OK, I received my Bose s1 pro today and it's... AMAZING!

This baby has really all it needs. Highly recommendable as a Stick amp.

I'll use it as a floor wedge but it delivers very well in upright position and the battery gives you 6 hours of autonomy. Buskers rejoice!

I have an epifani 555 head if anyone is interested. I paid 600 make an offer. I tried to sell it on eBay and Craigslist to no avail. Nothing bad to say about it I'm just a Mesa Boogie guy.

Anybody using the JBL EON ONE?

Looks Interesting for the Stick.

Looks Interesting for the Stick.

Though the JBL EON ONE seems to have been designed for range rather than loudness (±3dB: 45Hz–18kHz, 118dB peak), which I prefer, its input impedance is too low for Stick:
  • Typical Guitar or Bass Amp: 1MΩ
  • Stick Preamp: 1.74MΩ or 2.2MΩ
  • JBL EON ONE, Channel 1 and 2: 40kΩ
Whereas a Railboard player could overcome this with active mode, via phantom power, the JBL EON ONE does not provide phantom power. That limitation could be overcome with a phantom power supply, such as the ART Phantom II Pro. It is possible that the ACTV-2 would work well with such a low input impedance, however, as it has its own active preamp.

Input impedance aside, it also concerns me that the EQ frequencies are not documented. With the Stick's massive range, particularly on the bass side, it is important to understand EQ.
