How about a TC Electronics G-System? I have one and there are 4 separate effects loops, very versatile, and it sounds great. Plus, the onboard effects are insanely good... The Line6 Helix has some pretty ridiculous routing capabilities as well as some very awesome on-board effects?

Lol sorry, man. I am clutching at straws... :D

I've looked at those systems, but I'm using Strymon products,
so there's no way to integrate them into what I'm doing.

You hit the nail on the head,
when you mentioned routing capabilities.
That's exactly what I'm shooting for with the Strymon Trio.

For the DIY route, you might look into options with Arduino, Bela, or Raspberry Pi, these might have some simpler options for integrating audio and MIDI.

Otherwise, there's the Keith McMillen K-Mix or various audio interfaces with DSP that can be controlled remotely.

if you can find a used Akai MB76 that might do what you want. I used to have one long ago...

Thanks Greg, too many knobs.

I want to use a touchscreen to send MIDI messages for full routing
and fader control
of my Strymon Trio without any moving parts.

Claire, you are right on the money with the Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
I've been experimenting with these devices for a few years now.

At my work, we replaced a $50,000 Instructor's Operating Station
with a couple of Raspberry Pies :? and some new touchscreens.
It was the economical choice and our system now works better.

This tablet controlled digital mixer looks very interesting.
It's not quite what I'm looking for but close.

The Niche ACM is almost perfect, but no longer available.

I got lucky this morning with an eBay purchase thru the UK via California.
Two Niche ACM-1 midi controlled audio control modules for $150 USD.
This will certainly get my Strymon Trio Project back on track.

I previously ordered components via the slow boat from China
but it literally takes months to get these parts. If they show up at all.

I like the design of the Niche ACM but it is no longer in production,
so getting my hands on two units is great news.

Of course, I have to tear them apart and see how they are made. ;)
It's in my nature to see how things are made...
