That guitarist reminds me of Terry Kath: idea after idea after idea after idea...

Isaiah Mitchell is his name.

He's something else...I honestly have no idea how he can make 20 minute solos that just sound great from beginning to end. He has endless creativity..

The drummer, Mario Rubalcaba is unbelievably talented as well.
Watching him play live is a real treat.

Gonna check out Terry Kath.

Really cool stuff, but is it legal to be posting guitar stuff on The Stick forums? :D These guys hate my guts as it is...

Anyways, I really like the creative bent, seems like this guy has endless creativity. Reminds me in a sort of way of Phish? Maybe even the Grateful Dead in a weird way? Jam bands...
Terry Kath. Off to check him out...

So much music, so little time!

don't worry, the Stick Caliphate will tell you when you are doing something wrong on a free, public forum that they don't run.

OK. I'm an idiot. This is the guy from Chicago, yes? Terry Kath? Why haven't I ever really paid attention to this before? Really good. Like, mindblowing. Craziness, I was a fan without really knowing it...

Actually this is the perfect spot for this post. Chicago recorded the whole band live in the studio back in the day. Scott, check out the entire Chicago Transit Authority album. Jimi Hendrix came up to Terry at a Chicago gig and said "You're a better guitarist than me you can play anything" (Jimi was Terrys hero). He could play lead, ryhtm and sing at the same time. And write. And read. Chicago lost their soul when he died.

I won't lie, I thought about buying it. A big bill to be sure, hehe. But I could almost swing it if I deplete my savings, go back to work and finance all of my stuff. How cool would that be? Then I could just answer every question posed on Stickist with a picture of my console...
