..anyone have a fix for this? I've tried what is on Apple's site, and there's not much help elsewhere. Seems after the last Sierra OS update, I can no longer save a new project in Logic. Once I hit save, the program exits without saving. I have plenty of storage space left. I reloaded Logic Pro Studio as well.

Update to ProX, perhaps? If it's still Logic Pro9 you need to have, maybe go back an OS upgrade or two? I am still in El Capitan myself... (Lots of really cool stuff in ProX, definitely worth upgrading in my opinion...)

Good luck, man!

Thought of that, but one comment I read made me do a bit more research, apparently Apple's have a habit of saving errors in Preferences. I deleted a couple of those files several times. No help. Par for the course, had lots of issues when I used DAWS in PC's, my MacBook Pro with Logic has worked flawlessly now for years until now. Seems system upgrades have a habit of killing DAWS for me. I may just take the chance, perhaps Pro 9 is not too compatible with the new OS.

Not really sure about the problem, but I run Logic X on OSx Yosemite on a Mac book Air and its rock solid. I've always enjoyed Macs for that reason , turn it on it just works.
The Upgrade to Logic X might be worth it. For the Money it really is a hell of a lot of DAW no matter how you look at it. :ugeek:

What Bruce said. Rock solid. Plus, ProX is a lot of fun, and the editing tools under the hood are superior to previous iterations in my opinion, and the fun obvious stuff like Drummer, Alchemy, Pitch correction and much improved audio quantize. Not much help, I know... lol haha bunch of salesmen here lol

Have you tried signing out of icloud? Literally disabling the icloud drive? Worth a try...
