Hey Rob, I might not be comparing apples to apples here, but maybe by chance the same is happening. My PASIV pickups control knobs will sometimes get knocked into a middle position between the detent cutting out the signal. And if you don't see what's going on, you can knock it back into place and the signal comes back. Happens when the mode knob brushes against my pant leg the wrong way. Does the RB have a mode knob with detents in it for each mode? Look there and make sure it's properly engaged when that happens

Yes, the midrange filter selector knobs (one per side) are rotary switches.

I bypassed the berringer xynex 1202 mixer direct from my interface to my monitors and havent noticed the volume drop out yet toady. Im thinking the mixer is getting old. It definately has no off switch so its on constantly unless I turn off the power bar. Im thinking its the mixer. its weird. also never happens when recording to my interface so Its not likely the R block i dont think. thanks all for suggestions and comments. I ll keep you posted if it comes back
