I decided to get 2 news sets of strings for the Grand, old ones getting quite dull. Made the order online , had a nice chat on the phone with Stick in California and here they are in Australia only about a week later. Now to psych myself up to change them before going on a trip with the instrument, I know it's going to be a fair bit " brighter" with the new ones.

Can you imagine the delivery times, if these Strings were sold on Amazon?

Funny you should mention them, my son put me on to Amazon Prime, you order things and they turn up the next morning.Admittedly we're in a major city.

I ordered a new set as well not too long ago and shipping was pretty quick. Then I went through some of my old crates of gear and found three sets I ordered probably 5 years ago.....

Oh well.....I'm set for a while I guess.
