Rodrigo, this is GREAT! You have a wonderful touch. Love the cue sheet on the microphone stand :)

Scott: the amount of hours we put on this thing... The story really sounds familiar doesn't it? ;)
Rand, thank you, it means a lot!
Olivier, a praise from you has a really special ring: i'm a huge fan of yours! The paper on the microphone stand had the poem I was reading on the last song: I never realized it would be so difficult to memorize words... Damn, new respect for those of you who can actually sing!

Rodrigo. Memorize your poem. It'll be difficult but once it's done, get accustomed to say it without looking at any paper. That's when you'll realize that our vocal brain circuits are separated from the muscular circuits. Then you'll sing in no time. It's worth giving it a try. I have noticed that singing somehow overshadows the "special instrument" reaction of most audiences and makes them appreciate your music even more.

Yes, memorizing lyrics is a challenge for me too... Guys like Olivier blow me away. Awesome.

I have even found that some tunes, even if I can execute them and have the notes memorized and can " do the moves" require a sort of balance in concentration; overthink it and it fails. Get distracted, and it fails.

"All Of Me" is a good example of a tune that I know inside and out, yet for some reason I fail at it if the stars aren't in perfect alignment. Really, it just means I don't know it as well as I think I do and there is more work to be done. And I know it...

Great work, Rodrigo. Thanks for sharing.

Bump. (not that it needed one)

Just showed this to my wife, she was blown away....then I told her you've been playing for 7 months. She then told me I sucked, at which point I stopped your video and banished her from watching anything you produce in the future.

Dood, is there a pill you took or a program you downlinked to your brain (matrix style) that allowed you to be too awesome too early?

Seriously, I've never seen growth like this from anyone on this site.....so kudos, and a fistful of envy..... :D

cheers,
kev

Thanks guys. Appreciate you had the time to listen to that. :) you all rock!! Amazing group of people: supporting, sharing tips, points of view and giving more than a bit of their time to listen to everyone else. I'm sure you all know this but, it's not common. It is a real community. Thanks :)
Cheers
