Hi Stick friends, happy Friday. This last Sunday we were treated to a great conversation with host Guillermo Cides and guest Matias Betti. We were joined by Francisco and Tomas for the occasion and learned a little bit more about Matias.

Matias is a polycarb player based out of Argentina. He's one of the first players listed under the CD section of Stick.com with his album Verdadero Fruto and a very active player throughout Argentina. There are some plans for him to come to the US soon, so hopefully a Guitar Merchant show will be in order.

Matias is a masterful player, and unbeknownst to me, a Line 6 HD500 user. That was part of what I understood of this session which is mostly in Spanish .

This Sunday, we'll be recording a session with Japhlet at 11am PST / 2pm EST. I know that Bill had been hoping to hear some of these sessions in English - I would say watch for this Sunday's session as I think Japhlet will be using an equal amount of English and Spanish.

Damn, I wish I had taken Spanish instead of German way back in junior high.

I am glad I took German in high school, for myriad reasons unique to me, but I second the spirit of your post.

I took Spanish and I still couldn't keep up! This Sunday at 2pm EST will a lot more English with Japhlet - should be good!
