Free Hands Friday #40 recap
Free Hands Friday gets up and underneath the hood of the melody side amp in our first ever dramatically entitled session, "A Song of Iron and Wire". As with all technical discussions on the stickist, it started with our very own robstafarian.
It was great to see Rob getting a chance to share his deep set of technical knowledge on tube amps and how they stack up against modelers and solid state, although much of the emphasis was on modelers. Lots to be learned here for people on both sides of the discussion. There was also some great unscripted material from puppies and silly children.

There is a lot of low-level technical discussion here, which is generally necessary in these types of situations. However, there is also some straight up excellent knowledge that Rob lays on us. You can be sure stickist-heavies like Luc Bergeron, Matt Tate, Michael Bernier and Jeremy Neese were all ears when questions like - "What is your ideal analog setup?" came around.
Tip of hat to Rob for sharing his afternoon with us. As well to Michael Bernier, Matt Tate, Luc Bergeron and Jeremy Neese for keeping the discussion lively and entertaining. Happy Free Hands Friday!
