FHF #21 is up and away! Nathen Aswell took a little time out from his travels in Southern California to speak with Russell and Dale today and what a great session we had!

Nathen shared with us his long history and love of the instrument, his involvement with the Vancouver Stick seminar at it's beginning stages and how he has come to a deeper understanding of how to write, inspire and share his love of music with the NS Stick as his principle tool. We had a couple of drive bys from both NS players that were on the FHF previously to share their love and respect for this dear man by Don Schiff and Kyle McCann.

Nathen is active as a performer and public speaker in his professional life. His engagements in "Conscious Pop" have taken him all over the world as part of his trade, be sure to check out the session and the Nathen Aswell site when you are able.

It was fun to listen to Nathen views between the NS stick and the Chapman Stick. He like to complete his chords with these nice extensions...6th, 7th, 9th, etc...with his lefts hand. Nice singer too.

It was everything I could do to prevent myself from identifying my disembodied voice as "The Great Intelligence."

Sad that we are losing Nathen to Las Vegas

For what it is worth, I promise to make the trip if my move to Washington ever happens.

Are Robstafarian and Nathen the same person? On Rabstafarian we see Virginia as his location...and now he would leave Vancouver for Las Vegas. I'm a bit confused...lol...

Not even remotely, no offense to Nathen. My intention to move to Washington focuses primarily on medicinal cannabis rights.
