Free Hands Friday - STEVE ADELSON
Thanks to all that made it out to Free Hands Friday today. We had an informative and entertaining session with Song maestro David Tipton. David walked us through his arrangement of "I can see clearly now" by Johnny Nash.
The Free Hands Friday March Calendar has some great guests; March 7: Steve Adelson March 14: Dan Chapman March 21: Dave Brosky March 28: Matt Tate
We hope that you will get a chance to add the Free Hands Academy to your followers on your g+ account and perhaps check out the session when you are able - happy Free Hands Friday.

Re: Free Hands Friday - STEVE ADELSON
Honestly, I never thought I would see Steve live. I may have to miss this Friday (for the same reason), but I will do my best to show for Dan's appearance. No disrepect to Steve: I just feel I actually have some standing to discuss things with Dan.

What a wonderful idea Gene. I've seen a bunch of guys listening to this "live"...so...I have a question for you. I really appreciated to see it here but is there a way to be "on line" with all the others? I guess it's on Skype. You can reach me in private if it's better for you. Thank you to answer that...and good day.
Ok Gene...I saw another post finally where you explain what to do...The time...is it 10h30 pacific time? If it is that means 1h30 pm for me.

Re: Free Hands Friday - STEVE ADELSON
I don't mind not being able to participate in this 'live'. Now that the format is clear to include special guests and guest topics, I'm satisfied with being able to view afterwards. I participated in Hangouts for other instruments in the past and they can get stale and uninteresting fast without a focus. Glad Gene and others figured this out early.
Suggestion: Use the Google+ Chapman Stick Community or a special forum here for follow up discussion with the guests and participants. As it originates in G+, that would actually be a logical place to follow up.
BTW: I really enjoyed Dave's breakdown of how he arranges tunes.

That's a good idea Randy.
It was fun to be there yesterday. First Google chat for me with multiple chats going.
It's exciting to be a guest host on the 14th. Thanks Gene. Looking forward to it. Steve's will be great next Friday and a hard act to follow, I'm sure.
If anyone has questions or topics of discussion, please feel free to let me know what's on your mind.

Re: Free Hands Friday - STEVE ADELSON
Wonderful lesson!
I wonder, is there a way to move the attendees images to a vertical border to make the melody hand more visually accessible?
Looking forward to a dose of Adelson.
Thanks so much. Harry

Re: Free Hands Friday - STEVE ADELSON
We just confirmed Dan Chapman will be hosting the discussion with Steve which will be an impromptu session with his half fretless 12-string. Good times.
