Hi Stick friends. A little late in posting this, but here it is.
This week, I added another mic to my setup, but I still needed to manually adjust levels, sigh. However, getting good feedback on remote cams and improved sound quality.
This Friday, we'll take a break from the Bach and talk about posture. Thanks for tuning in, feedback always welcome - cheers.

Re: FHF #93: Invention 1 pt. 2
I’m at about the same place on my invention as where you stopped I love how the lines are the same in both hands and how the hands change roles. Love how the lines change direction as well. These are all great composition tool and it great to see how Bach uses them learning a piece really gets you into the composers head. Lots to learn doing these. Thanks for posting
I'm really looking forward to part 3. Here is my very quickly slammed together (but it is memorized, haha) version of the two bars. I opted to just get this one done quickly, and see if it 'took' to memory without torturing y'all with a bunch of metronome practice and stuff. lol still a mistake or two, but it's not about perfection - I will refine later. A decent few minutes, a very rewarding piece of music in my opinion, even if one only learned a measure or two.
Pretty cool, I like these two bars. Lots going on actually. I really like the last beat of measure 4 where the Bass clef has a 'C' that ties over and the treble side plays an F# to A then G to B, F# A G B with a C in the Bass equals a Cmaj7 with an added 13 and a #11 - Cool. It screams "Lydian moment" to me (Stariani and Vai use those tonalities a lot, plus it pops up in country quite a bit too...)
Anyways, thanks for posting this Gene, and great job on your broadcast - I am loving the improvements in fidelity as well as the content you provide.

Great work, Gene!
...my wife was curious if there's a story behind the cat's name.

Thanks for sharing this Scott. I loved it when you said - "I got it". Really enjoying learning this with you. I'll be posting some thoughts on posture tomorrow, but ready with measures 5 & 6 come Friday.
Vik, Lucky was left with my land lady. He had a different name, but she renamed him "Lucky" when she took him in after his original owners left him when they moved. He's a massive snowy male. Sweet cat and street fighter.
