FHF is in the bag. Good discussions with Boaz, Rob and Kevin on using small mixers for use with the Chapman Stick.

When it comes to mixers, I'm sold on Steinberg's UR44.
The DSP mixer is software based along with the effects.

Thanks to all for sharing, I will be looking for a mixer in the near future and it gave me some things to think about. I tried to join in but it was my first attempt to join a google hangout and I think I had the notification setting set up wrong. I got an invite after I signed out and then signed back in at about 12:15 pacific time, but when I clicked the link on the invite I entered a hangout but I was the only one there. I´m gonna do some research, but if anybody´s got an idea what I did wrong please post a reply. Hopefully I´ll figure it out for next Free Hands friday.

Rob

Hey Rob, sorry it did not happen this time out. Perhaps schedule something with one of us before hand so you can test your connection before a FHF session. This session was a little rough but did make some headway in providing some insight for the idea behind using a small mixer for the Chapman Stick as well as some first hand reviews of the same said mixers.

I´m going to see if my nephew or someone in my family uses hangouts and try testing with them, if I can´t find anyone I´ll email Gene or post a thread on the Stickist

Thanks, Rob
