Post Free Hands Friday #66 - Song Learn "Yesterday"
Hi Stick friends. This Friday, November 13, we'll be walking through the Beatles' Yesterday with Kevin Chiasson. We'll start at 12pm PDT.

FHF "Song learn" will be the first in many sessions where we break down a song bit by bit. Kevin continues to blaze through new tunes, so we'll talk through some of the processes that he goes through in learning a new tune.

If you would like to be included, include a reply here. I will also put a post on the FHA FB site with the same information.

Hope to see you then. :D

Cool! Hopefully we get some takers. Looking forward imparting my hacky techniques and lack of knowledge to anyone thats wants to be corrupted. And more importantly, how to steal from one of my fave Stick mavens, David Tipton.

I'll post the tabs in the gallery section today sometime.

cheers,
Thick as Thieves

I d love to be involved but I m not supposed to get my stick til next week. One of these days I will sign up. How easy is it to get onto the google hangout? Im not really technical when it comes to computers. I do want to learn that tune so will dive in when the episode airs on you tube.

This tune appears in Free Hands and is a Stick classic, so believe me, I will be fired up to learn this one and add it to the repertoire.

It's easy. You will require a g+ account. Add Free Hands Academy to your circles and then request an invite on the most recent thread.

A Chapman Stick is not require for entrance to the hangout. All are welcome. :D

count me in. I will be at work listening in, but love the idea of the "song learn" concept.

Tabs are in the gallery now, one is upside down...sorry. Just turn your PC over, or stand on your head, whichever is easier.

cheers,

Gene, invite me!

Kevin, thanks for helping us out -- we should all have this one in our catalogs.

Everyone, I've taken the tab images from the gallery and pasted them into a quickie slide deck attached. Cheers

Lee
