JUly Song Of The MonthSuggestion time
Hi folks. Its been a busy summer for me and Im sure it has been for you as well. I need your help getting some more suggestions again for a song to work on for the month of July. This past month Ive been working on Junes' song which was Careless Whisper and Im overdue with getting that done and also I have yet to record Wicked Game. Ive been swamped trying to get my sisters estate settled going to Windsor every other weekend. sometimes life gets in the way. Anyway Ill get those posted soon I hope.
I need suggestions from YOU stickist folks. What would you like to hear at an open mic or think would make for a great stick tune to learn ( and perform). Last months songs that got a vote and will be on this months poll are Moondance and Human Nature. You can suggest something from the past as well as something new. Any song getting a vote will be in the next months poll. All songs are good.

Some suggestions: Light my fire from the doors. I am sure lots of different ways to arrange this one, and there is room for a giant improv in the middle. Could be great for the stick.
Or Get lucky from Daft Punk. Repetitive, but good groove going on.

All good suggestions. Which tune do people yell out Gene? I’ll post a poll tonight and we can vote so an last minute suggestions please speak now or wait til next month.
Don't know why by Norah Jones. My regulars like the "heart is full of wine" reference.
However, it would be nice to do Suicide is painless - that's a great suggestion! Mike Kollwitz showed me that one a few years back when we played a duet gig.
