I love my Roland HandSonic. Finger drumming, hand drumming, heck, even stick drumming if you want. My drummer buddy poo-pooed it...until he got his hands (fingers) on it. Just another tool. I wanted tablas for sooo long, but practicing real ones would drive my housemates crazy. Now I got bongos (and cartoon noises) too! I know it's not what you guys are talkin' about, but it's my entry into the world of "finger" drums.

I always love "playing" drum machines, it's a lot of fun. The Boss DR880 sounds awesome, and the pads trigger really well. And fun...

Finger drumming
Late to the party, as usual. The Zendrum is my primary drum kit. After years of “finger drumming” on it, I applied Greg’s hand movement technique from the Stick and heard a big improvement in my playing. I also have an Aquadrum, Wavedrum, Udu, and Keith McMillan Bop Pad - all are wonderful.
