Post Per Boysen in Gamla Stan, Sweden
My friend, director Ian McCrudden is in Sweden this month. He spotted Per Boysen playing in Gamla Stan on Monday and took this vid. I was pleasantly surprised when he sent them and the lovely message from both. Thanks Per!

+1. Love that smile and how he keeps one hand on the fretboard. Per you are one of a kind!

Nice...I'm sure Sweden is a great country to visit...and live there.

I am told it's not the easiest country to immigrate to.

Ian married a Swedish girl who takes the camera in this vid to shoot him with Per. He's from the US and has made US films plus a successful Swedish movie.

I always had good times in Stockholm. Gamla Stan is a very pretty part of Stockholm, especially in the winter :-)

Cheers,
Bas

What people seem to be doing these days - here in "the new Europe", as it is more of a real union now rather than just a free market trading union - is to stay in Sweden for the allowed ("free travelling") three months and then take a short trip back to their original European country and come back for the next three months period, repeatedly. Not an option for non EU folks and not the same as to emigrate though, since you don't apply for a citizenship. To be granted a citizenship you need to involve into marriage or be a (properly documented) refugee coming from a war zone. Maybe there are some other ways I don't know about (like outstanding capabilities in a work field, arts etc. Most countries want to snatch skilled people)

It's the same situation in many countries.
