How long do you spend warming up when you first pick up your Stick?

I did so many arpeggios and scales, etc. on my guitar when I was younger. On the stick I just play slowly at the beginning to be sure that my fingers won't hurt after few minutes. It comes naturally to play more busy and doing new musical expériences. Well...I just play in fact but starting slowly and then I try to discover new paths.
