I currently use light gauge MR on both my Sticks, but I think I will move up to medium at the next string change (which should be soon).

After having tried all I settled with medium gauge for both 36" Grand and SG-12. But on the long-scaled Stick I tune a half-note higher than the SE recommendation.

For me nothing is best than a heavy gauge...on my 12 strings grand. I ajusted the instrument with the truss rod. It's better to keep in tune...perfect for me.

i use medium on everything. (Stick DBR, guitar, bass). and i always used D'Addario strings even before having a Stick. no other brand feels right under my fingers. and Per, i tune a half-step down. i like 'em saucey...
