Sorry, Manny,

I can't believe I forgot to mention shedua. That's a more common one than zebrawood, for example. Before you change it again, are there any besides Osage Orange and Shedua that you guys can think of that aren't on the list?

Just curious, why is this poll in the method section? Wouldn't the surveys be more appropriate to the Chapman Stick section?

Thanks again for adding such depth to the forum. It's a really interesting place.

edit: Thanks for making the additions

Hmm, temporary glitch I think, this poll suppose to be in the Polls area.
I'll wait until tonight before I update the Poll with more selections, and start the votes over again.

Thanks!

Osage Orange and Shedua added. Sorry to have to start the poll over again.

Hi Manny,
It is in the polls area. I'm just wondering if the polls belong in the method section. It's as good a place as any I suppose, especially considering how few categories there are. Thanks for making the additions to the list.

Maybe a subsection for seminars, workshops and get-togethers would be a good idea, so they aren't buried in the announcements section (just as thought). Thanks for being so open to input on these things.

I can't help wondering if the poll would be better if it was 'what is your favourite wood/material? I think that would give more of an indication of which woods are liked best.

I have both Graphite and Paduak, but they were both purchased secondhand with no choice over such matters. If I bought a new one I'm sure I'd go for Tarara.

Dark bamboo - but a relatively light "dark bambo" that looks no more than perhaps a slight shade darker than the "light bamboo" on the SE website's "bamboo" page ( http://www.stick.com/instruments/bamboo/ ) - and not nearly as dark as the dark bamboo shown there.
