 Hello from San Diego Hello Stickists,
I'm Ash and I am new to the community. I am a bass player, but have been interested in the Chapman stick for over a decade, and Emmett's passing has really pushed me towards purchasing my first Stick (If anyone is looking to sell a newer 36" scale Chapman Stick please PM me!) Anyhoo, I would like to try one at the very least, so if their are any stick players in the SD area who would be willing to meet and show me their instruments I'd greatly appreciate that =]

Re: Hello from San Diego Welcome Ash! I come from bass and bought a Stick cold back in '84. All sorts of amusing anecdotes ensued. Hope you get to try one. My main instrument is a 12-string Grand Bamboo tuned DBR. And yes I play the melody side!
