 Hi from Kleinwöllmiß, Styria, Austria Bought my Stick (nr. N570) in 2003, touched no other instrument for half a year and was disappointed with myself so I gave it up ... seems to me today I wanted too much too fast! I'm a classically trained guitarist and earn my living from teaching kids so I couldn't cut my nails to Stick-length and I couldn't completely let go of the guitar also. Anyway, two weeks ago I got the idea to start a new band and suddenly decided to use the stick for my instrument. So now I'm practicing again!

Re: Hi from Kleinwöllmiß, Styria, Austria A lot of guys go through the nail thing. I know I did and it kept me off getting into Stick for years - years I'll never get back. I use fingerpicks on my money instrument, pedal steel and bare fingers on guitar which a lot of guys do quite effectively.
