 Hello from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I picked up my 10 String Grand Stick in Toronto last Saturday, and am just getting started.
I have wanted a Stick since I saw King Crimson in the early 80's. I only ever saw a Stick on that occasion, and have never found one for sale, or even one to try. I saw posts on here about some sales history of the stick I purchased - #5356. I would appreciate any information anyone has on the history of this Stick. Thanks!

Did you buy that from Paul Stilwell in Toronto? I know he had a 10-string grand he wasn't playing much. Other than that, by your serial # I'm sure it's from the mid-late 2000s. Glad to have another Canadian Stickist.

I figured that was around the time it was made from the history page on the Chapman site.
It is great to hear from other players, and to have this resource for info and to find other players.

Re: Hello from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Hello to Guelph and Toronto! A Stick meet-up might be a good idea for the summer or fall as the rules allow.
I am just getting started (slowly), but it is exciting. I am switching to the Stick from just over two years playing a 1989 Warwick 5 string NT Thumb bass for an hour every day. I was a guitar player for many years prior to that - studio musician and live gigs for many years. I have good gear for both sides of the Stick, now I just have to start from scratch basically, and put in the time.
