Toronto newbie!
Greetings fellow stick people!
I've been fascinated with the Stick ever since i saw Tony Levin playing one with Peter Gabriel back in 1980, and finally took the plunge last month, buying a polycarbonate 10-string off Reverb. (#2680, assuming that the number on the front of the headstock is indeed the serial number.)
I’m starting with Greg Howard’s “Basic Free Hands Technique” videos, with the intent of applying the technique to some favourite tunes as I build technique. Looking forward to an interesting musical journey.

I especially welcome another Canadian Stick player to this board. All the best to you and your journey. Don't be shy to share anything here. No question is bad. No audio/video presentation is poor. A safe place for beginners and veterans alike.
We hope to hear of your discoveries.

Re: Toronto newbie!
Welcome! Good luck with your journey! I miss Toronto so much, especially going for concerts and food. I am not too far across the border in NY. These days its like "so close, but so far away.."
Greg's lessons are great. Highly recommended.

Re: Toronto newbie!
When this is over we'll all probably travel to Toronto to visit you just to get out of the house! Check the back of that poly for a T. Levin signiture he had a white one!

Re: Toronto newbie!
Thanks, all. Anyone who makes it to TO for beer, first round is on me No Levin signature on this one; it’s black and I bought it from its first owner, David Horsley.
