Hi all,

I've been away for quite some time. I was unfortunately diagnosed with large b-cell lymphoma back in early 2018. After chemo treatment and radiation, the tumor was gone. I was told I could go back and live my life. Unfortunately, they were wrong. The cancer cells had gone into my brain. More chemo and a bone marrow transplant at Mount Sinai in NYC later, I'm now cancer free.

I haven't touched my Stick since this all started back in 2018. Been keeping contact with Steve A. over this process and he's been great at keeping my spirits up and assuring me I'll get back to it. He was right, of course.

I'll be attending the LBJF weekend after next and that should help even more. You can't beat free music from the talented musicians that show up there to perform. So many that I would never have seen had I not been at LBJF. Bob C., Rachel Z., Ben Lacy, Chieli Minucci, the list goes on.

For some odd reason, I've been hearing "Tempted" by Squeeze running through my head (it's amazing the things chemo can do to one's brain LOL). I got the sheet music and I think I'll go down and start fiddling with it and see how things go.

I'm glad to be back and hope everyone here has been doing great!!

...this april i've lost my brother in law, not by a cancer but because a heart weakness...
...be careful with your health, play some music is maybe the best medicine...
