Welcome Mark. I almost bought an alto. But ended up changing my mind to SG12 The alto would have been just as awesome

Hi Rob - I came really close to selecting an SG12 instead of an Alto. But the closer string spacing, and a thread on here about 12 versus 10 strings convinced me that, for a newbie like me, simpler would be better. I think Greg had a comment in that thread about the 10 string Sticks encouraging more hand motion, and I decided that might be the choice for me. If it existed I'd probably have picked an Alto Railboard instead, but I think that model is probably still a ways in the future.
