Best of luck to you on your quest! I would ask here, just how ambitious you are about the Stick. If the answer is "very ambitious", I would suggest getting a teacher immediately. You can save so much time! Seriously. Next, join a band. You'll get better even faster. Then, practice technique. Another time saver. Then, find a style and stick with it (sorry - pun). Learning a style is like building a house - the smaller and more well-planned it is, the faster you'll build it and make it your own. I'm just saying all these things because I failed to do them all, and spent thirty years learning what I might have learned in five. Oh well! R |
