Hello from Munich!
After several years of playing guitar and bass I am thinking about buying a stick. What's the average waiting time from ordering to delivery? Thanks for this fantastic forum!
Best regards Mike

Re: Hello from Munich!
My Railboard--which I just got a couple of months ago--took 142 days form order to delivery. I ordered my 10-string Rosewood off Ebay while I waited (because I thought it might take 6 months--and it can.) My order would have taken another month or so but I canceled some MIDI pickups that were on order that I really didn't want or need that badly.
Stick has some older Sticks on hand that can be bought right away, which wasn't an option for me 6 months ago.
Good luck on picking that first Stick and there are lots of fine helpful people around here if you need help picking that first Stick.
Cheers!

Hey Mike. Get in here man! Also lots of great FB groups out there too. Stick Enterprises has some used Sticks if you don't want to wait. Some good starter Sticks out there.

Re: Hello from Munich!
Thanks for the welcome! Used to play lot of Jazz during the last months and I very much like the idea of combining bass lines with chords and melody on one instrument. I can imagine it's a challenge but I am happy to take it.

Hi Mike, My first Stick had a waiting time of NINE MONTHS but I was lucky to get an email within the first week offering me to take over an almost finished one that had been rejected by the original customer. It had different color fret markers but I took it anyway. One week is a lot shorter than nine months. But waiting times are generally shorter now, as others have pointed out. I see you're in Munich. Shipping costs and import taxes can reduce the price a lot if you pick it up while in USA. Or have a friend help out. There is also some sort of tax in California (where Stick Enterprises are located), making it a little bit cheaper to have it shipped to a different state.
