Post Instrument Insurance
Not sure where to best post this but its a reminder I guess as I received my insurance renewal today for my Instruments.
I never thought that much about this until travelling to StickCamp and I think Andy Salvanos brought it up maybe on Facebook .
Anyway I thought it might be timely for people to check what would happen if their Sticks were unfortunately damaged or stolen or whatever.
My cover is not that expensive and I feel much better for it.
Most of you are probably all over this topic.
Just some food for thought. B

Post Re: Instrument Insurance
interestingly enough I was discussing this with my broker the other day.

I think under most home insurance policies if you use your instruments in a professional manner or travel with them a lot you can have some serious limitations in your policy. If it's just for personal use and doesn't leave your home often then your gear is covered under your general "contents" policy (my situation).

But I know we have a lot of practicing, professional and semi-professional players out there...so please call and check.

It would be awful to find out the hard way you didn't have the right coverage!
