 Movies
Since nothing even remotely interesting musically gets discussed here I'm starting a movie thread. Feel free to discuss or add your own, BUT KEEP YOUR FUKIN CRAP MOVIES OUTTA MY THREAD. I'll start: The Third Man (1949) Director: Carol Reed Writer: Graham Greene Cast: Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, Orson Welles, ect... One of the great films ever made. Arguably Orsen Wells's most iconic role (right there with C.F.K.) Probably the greatest entrance in movie history. And the zither soundtrack fits the move perfectly. Someone uploaded the film in 12 parts on youtube so if your too cheap to buy it you can see it there. Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEYLAw5gEnETritone

Tritone With this kind of answer on another forum, no doubt that this movie discussion will have a lot success. Don't blame us if nobody doesn't want to take part in your discussion. But you can discuss it alone Bruno PS : hey, you can now add the crying little boy photo

Shame noone ever bothered to import wit into France. Then again, with your own self importance crammed that far up your tight ass we should probably grade you on a curve. Next....

 Re: Movies
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057012/In my opinion Kubrick's best movie. Funny as hell and never gets old. Sellers is great and for some reason General Turgidson cracks me up more than it should. So subversive. Kubrick's detached style can be hard to take sometimes but everything here is pitch perfect. Shame they dont make movies like this anymore. Tritone

 Re: Movies
Last one for the night. The Night of the Hunter (1955) Great suspensful movie. Mitchum is great as the Reverend Powell with L-O-V-E and H-A-T-E tattoed on his knuckles. Scary and funny at the same time. And it's told in a sorta expressionist style rather than straight realism. Unique movie. And great too. Gotta love youtube. Go over and watch it. Re: Movies
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120735/Guy Ritchie is known as the english Tarantino, and this movie kinda shows why. Great gangster flick with a clever plot and inane dialogues. Watch. It. The movie.

You're right Tritone : I'm certainly not as clever as I would, I forgot you were the "stickist.com official troll"

 Re: Movies
It is obvious to me that Tri is a super genius and finds all other humans boring and not fast enough for his awesome intellect. Don't know why the rest of you can't see it. All he wants is to find a friend he can relate to on a similar intellectual plane.
I knew a guy like this in school - would do or say anything to get a rise and when he did he was so quick coming back it took minutes sometimes to get what he was on about. Showed up the delayed acuity of the mass.
Night of the Hunter - great film. Due a re-make/re-vamp, or has it been done?
