Re: different belt making a difference This is a great thread. I presently have a nylon tool belt, about 3 inches wide. It has a tendency to sag. While it doesn't yet pose a problem, I think I'll look into a more solid support.

Re: different belt making a difference Since I got my first Stick, almost three years ago, I have not been using any of my comfortable soft wool belts. Now I'm a boring person always wearing the same leather belt.

My back is happy and the Stick is always at the same level regardless of what I wear... or don't wear. Only thing I don't like is that it is mercyless in pointing out my increasing belly size... I used to be on the third hole, now it's a squeeze at the second. Dang!  P.S. one tip if you have it in a gig bag like me: make sure the buckle is away from the instrument or you'll get it scratched easily (or "reliced" as the say nowadays).

Re: different belt making a difference That is very sweet of you and much appreciated, but unfortunately the belt is not the only pointer Anyway, I feel that finding a belt that works for you makes a huge difference: it helps immensely in aiding your muscle memory motions.
