Post How LONG???
How long does it take you to kill the Big Bass string on your Stick??
I think I killed this one in about two weeks!

Post Re: How LONG???
Out of a few dozen sets of Stick strings over 6+ years, I've had it happen too. But just once.
Usually they last many months.

Seems like some strings just die quickly, could be 1 out of 100, from the same batch.

My suggestion is just order a replacement.

What happens exactly when you kill it?

Initially,there's a lot of blood......
ok but seriously-the string loses"brilliance" and the round wound Tone becomes a little flappy.
Same thing happens on my basses but I seem to have hammered this string on the Stick to death in short order-the last set survived about 6 months-so I think the wrap is loose.
