Howdy kids!!!

I purchased a Stick today on eBay. #2048 10-string Rosewood with PASV-4. I've been waiting for this moment for a few years. It looks to be in great condition and the price was right!! I like the ability to switch to mono so I can use my Samson wireless at gigs.

I also also called SE this afternoon and purchased a new set of strings and the Freehands book.

the plan is to learn the classic tuning and use The Stick in my regular rock cover band gigs to do my bass parts and maybe add keyboard or second guitar parts when needed.

Everything's getting shipped today. Next week can't some soon enough!!!!!!!

great! just make sure that truss is straight before you get tapping! Makes a world of difference. I say that because the one I got on ebay was very very bowed.

Quick question

The listing didn't mention that a truss rod wrench is included. Will SE send one out? How much - didn't see anything listed on the site.

Quick statement

I called SE on Friday to get the Freehands book and new set of strings in anticipation of my acquisition. Imagine my surprise when I checked my mail today and there is the book and strings!! Well done SE!!!!

I'll bring my Stick and hopefully you can tell me if it needs adjustment. UPS Says I'm getting it Friday the 6th.

It's a great idea to bring your stick. I can show you some things about adjustment and let you know if it needs Emmett's touch.
