New Black Railboard
Showed up today from SE. This instrument is incredible. I'm so happy with how it plays and sounds. Classic Medium. Here's a picture:

Congats! New Stick Day is almost better than any other. What other Sticks do you have?

Nice! Can you tell us when you ordered it? I'm on the list for a black one with gold Hipshot tuners, I wonder if mine is in the same production run as yours. Great looking Stick!

Weird. Yours has a lower serial # than mine does, but I've had mine in possession since the end of July. And Oz Music had it before I got it lol

Re: New Black Railboard
I finalized the order for this on June 19, so it was basically 13 weeks from order to receipt. When I spoke to Cambria, she had indicated that this was from the 2nd production run but does not have the new fretboard texture, it has the bead-blasted fretboard. I've played it for a couple hours now and it plays and sounds great.
This is my 2nd Chapman Stick, I also have a Tarara wood instrument that is one of the earlier generation sticks without the adjustable tailpiece, flaps or rails. It plays and sounds great, I've had many, many hours of enjoyment playing it. Maybe now I'll send it back to SE for an upgrade.

Re: New Black Railboard
Thanks Mattio. I ordered mine about a week later, so it's probably getting close!
